RIP : Patrick SWAYZE

Azi noapte s-a stins din viata, la 57 de ani, un actor care a luptat din greu cu o boala nemiloasa. Patrick SWAYZE s-a evidentiat, pe langa cariera actoriceasca remarcabila, ca un tip simpatic si popular, cu o constitutie fizica remarcabila si real talent la dansuri, foarte apreciat de public.

In "Ghost" (1990) film premiat cu 2 premii Oscar (tradus de noi romanii drept "Fantoma mea Iubita") actorul a facut un rol memorabil alaturi de Demi Moore si bine-cunoscuta actrita de culoare Whoopy Goldberg.

Imi amintesc ca eram pustan cand l-am vazut si-am fost emotionat de acest film, la fel si de coloana sonora - una de exceptie. Este vorba de piesa "Unchained Melody" a celebrilor "The Righteous Brothers". Un alt film exponential pentru cariera lui Patrick SWAYZE dar si pentru noi privitorii este "Dirty Dancing" (1987) care beneficiaza de o coloana sonora foarte cunoscuta, este vorba de piesa "Time Of My Life".

Mai presus de toate, este o piesa tot din "Dirty Dancing" ! Una dintre cele mai bune coloane sonore, ale unui film, facute vreodata. O piesa interpretata de insusi Patrick Swayze ce a avut si-o voce deosebita, pe langa talentul actoricesc bine-cunoscut. Piesa "She's Like The Wind", face parte din genul celor care nu putea sa lipseasca la petrecerile din adolescenta noastra, in perioada Liceului. Ba, chiar si la petrecerile din camin, in perioada studentiei, imi amintesc ca inca se mai dansa. Nu stiu, mie imi place la nebunie, e superba !
